I enjoyed my weekend as the weather has been pretty warm and my boyfriend and I had lunch at a new American place. The food was delicious! We had salad and I actually tried pesto for the first time and to my suprise I liked it! I’m still trying to get used to the clocks going forward though, ha ha, I hate the time change!
I’m wearing my Paige Lou Lou flared jeans, a Mercy Delta scarf from Trilogy, a H&M brown cardigan and white tee and my Topshop Sugar nude heels and bird ring.
I’m going to be giving away one of these scarves in leopard print with Trilogy Stores really soon to one luck reader as it’s gorgeous! It’s made from wool and silk/cashmere. What do you think of it? Are you excited to be able to win one? It retails for over £100! My eBay items are ending in a couple of days and I have lots of new designer items listed at cheap prices too. Check out my eBay store here.

those jeans are soo cute!
I like this outfit! The jeans fit you perfectly! I am not sure I am in love with the loulou style in general – I kind of feel like the jeans that are out there right now that attempt to combine the skinny+flare don’t succeed in doing either very well. I’m a “go big or go home” gal – either do the full-on skinny or go for a really dramatic flare! PS Haven’t seen you experimenting much with one of my favorite accessories…a really cool belt. You often have your shirts pulled down over your waist – maybe a new fashion challenge for you? 🙂
Since I have such small legs I prefer the skinny flare, Paige brought these out a year ago and I think they are her best flare leg for me anyway, I’ve got trouser jeans from 7FAM and others but I feel like the swamp me just too much. I like to be able to see my legs through my jeans lol! But everyone has their own style 🙂 As for belts, I generally don’t wear them, my legs are pretty short so belts just make them look even shorter. I wear waist belts though, around dresses and shirts etc, Just don’t really wear belts at the hips and I don’t have any high rise jeans. I just recently bought some higher waisted chinos though which I belt and wear with a light denim shirt 🙂
I’ve seen you pull off some flares, they looked good, maybe they just aren’t your taste or you aren’t used to them. They do require a big heel, that is part of the fun! Don’t sell yourself short (no pun intended) on the belt – you might surprise yourself! But I know you have to dress to be comfortable, too. My legs are longer, but I am very short-waisted so the new high-waisted styles that are out right now just make me look even MORE short-waisted than ever! It is a realllllyyy bad look on me!
Maybe I’m just old. (a very real possiblity!) 🙂 Anyway, you asked for more comments so here you go! PS the scarf is very pretty also. The colors in general in your outfit are great and it all works well together!
Thanks Jen! I do appreciate the comments and feedback 🙂 I did want to make it all about the scarf because of the contest so I’m glad that worked. I generally don’t like tucking in my shirts because it feels really close around my belly then lol and that makes me feel conscious, us women and our insecurities lol!
Huge fan!! I really do adore these jeans, and the heels are fabulous.
Thank you Sarah and Featherfactor 🙂
Love your scarf – beautiful! I love scarf prints.
Its a very beautiful scarf 🙂 I’m liking the flares too.
Thank you Adam and Fashionismyh2o 🙂 Yeah the time change stinks, haha! I love the flares with heels too because they really elongate my legs which is a need since they are short lol 🙂
Those flares are amazing! I love how the elongate your legs so much 🙂 super pretty scarf too – I’m also hating the clock change my body is like “whaaat no it’s still this time not THAT time” ha-ha xx
Hey Lorna great to see you in another Paige success :0) the LouLou are a great cut for anyone who wants to stay within this season trend of flares, but perhaps to scared to go full on. After all we have been encourage to wear the skinny for the past two years. I think they look Fantastic on defently a favourite of mine. Jen you’d be suprised the skinny flares are currently a bigger hit then the full on flares, I’m a lover of both kinds but this style has a more femine cut as it flares from the calf not the knee. The LouLous are flying off the shelves at the moment.
Lorna I love the scarf, great length and colours :0)
Thanks Natalie! Lou Lou is my ultimate favourite flare ever. What washes do you have it in? I’m excited for when it’s released in the Lorna wash 😀
See, I probably AM just old! I just blew my jean money on a pair of CE low bells that I adore. So for the moment, at least, I will have to live the tulip flare trend vicariously through Lorna, haha!
Oh the low bells!! They are adorable! They are high on my wish list right now 🙂 Love them!
You look fab! I loveloveLOVE the scarf, and the jeans look perfect on you. I’ve never really suited flares, which is a bit sad, because they look awesome. I don’t actually suit jeans in general, if I’m honest, though…
I always thought of flares as not looking right, but you really pull them off…fabulous! Jealous!!!
Thank you Siobhan! In all honesty, I never used to wear flares because of being small so they used to swamp me but I found if you wear the ones which are skinny all the way to the knee down and not a huge flare then they suit you much better and show you have a shape without drowning you. There are so many different ones to try, if you tried the Lou Lou you might be suprised 🙂
Lorna as always you look amazing, what a fabulous scarf and those jeans are so flattering. Well done xxx
Thank you Ali 🙂
