My Designer Handbag Wish List From Harrods

I have collaborated with one of my favourite stores, Harrods, to create my handbag wish list and share it with you! I have chosen 8 Designer Handbags, 4 of which are Mulberry (my favourite) and they are all bags that I would love to own! My obsession with bags has developed so intensely over the past coupe of years and I am always on the look out for which ones I would love to add to my ever growing wish list.

Above is the Mulberry Bayswater Tote in Chocolate which I think is absolutely gorgeous! I love the Chocolate colour and the tote version is such a cute take on the classic style. It would be great if you were going away on holiday and you needed some extra room for your things, but want to keep it stylish!

Another one of my favourites, Marc by Marc Jacobs. This is the Flipping Out bag and I think it’s so beautiful! I love the combination of black, brown and cream with the different textures. Plus, I think the shape is adorable! It would be a dream come true if it came in a mini version!

This is the 3.1 Phillip Lim Tote which I saw and thought ‘wow’! I love the intense berry colour and the shape is really fun. I can definitely see this making a neutral outfit of blacks and creams really pop!

Another new classic from Mulberry is the Del Rey tote, named after Lana Del Rey. It’s become somewhat of an icon in the Mulberry collection and I think the shape is cute and the colour is perfect for Autumn.

Above is the Reed Krakoff Boxer bag which I fell in love with the moment I saw it. I love the box shape with the crossing over buckles and straps, it’s such a unique design that looks so pretty in the bright red shade.

This is the regular Mulberry Bayswater in Chocolate because I decided you can’t just have the Tote version and not the original. Again, I adore the Chocolate colour as it’s perfect for the coming season and the Bayswater is Mulberry’s most famous bag!

Of course my wish list wouldn’t be complete without some glitter, so I have included this Anya Hindmarch Valorie Glitter Clutch because it’s so glamorous! The dark marine glitter colour matches my slip on flats that I have and it would really glam up an evening outfit!

Last but not least is another Mulberry, it’s the Del Rey again as I think it’s a classic style, but in a different colour option. This shade would go with pretty much anything you decided to wear, so I thought it was important to add such a classic and versatile bag in the mix. What’s on some of your bag wish lists?

Is this a wishlist you intend to fill LOL? The clutch has a lovely dazzling look, and the Flipping out Bag is certainly one I would like x

Pretty bags! I can’t easily tell how big some of them are – love the Phillip Lim but the mini version is more my speed…it just seems the bags everyone’s carrying right now are HUGE, and they seem to swallow up the person behind them…do folks really have that much STUFF to carry around? If so, buy a suitcase on wheels or you are going to throw your back out! 🙂

You know I love the mini ones too! I can’t deal with huge heavy ones, fair enough if you are out the entire day, but generally I like the small ones 🙂

I started to develop shoulder problems from lugging around bags that were too heavy. I think we really talk ourselves into thinking we NEED to have more things in tow than we really do. I’m now committed to small-sized bags and have found that I am just fine with a few essentials. On day trips with more to carry, I have to go with the as-stylish-as-possible backpack style purse. I have a nice one from Coach. Not as chic, but functional!

Oh my gosh I did the same thing! When I first started out with bags I bought large things as I thought that was the done thing, then I would end up putting things I didn’t need in there to fill it out and because of my Ehlers Danlos giving me loose shoulder joints, it used to pop my shoulder out and cause me back ache. I was actually thinking of doing a ‘what’s in my bag’ type of post and now I’m inspired to more as I only carry a small amount of things, maybe it might enlighten people lol!
