My Hidden Heel High Top Collection

As promised, here is a post dedicated to my hidden heel high top collection. I sort of became a little bit obsessed with these many months ago and have slowly been buying a few pairs here and there throughout the year. I now have 4 pairs and I am pretty happy with that as I have black, burgundy, camel and beige, so I think I am all set with colours as I have all of the colours I need. They are always my go to when it comes to just grabbing a pair of shoes. They are so comfortable, you don’t even feel the heel at all.

So these were my first pair of hidden heel high tops. They are the ASH Bowie in Stone that I managed to find on eBay as they sold out in stores. As with all ASH high tops, they did come with the fabric ASH logo on the tongue of the shoe, but I did a little DIY and removed them myself so they would be plain and simple. I’m not a fan of heavy branding at all, so I much prefer them minimal like this! These have got me through many days out and a few London trips, that’s how comfortable they are.

There were my second pair, and the heel/wedge is completely hidden on these as you can see. They are a little more like actual trainers/sneakers and they are from River Island. The original thing that attracted me to these was the burgundy colour, as you know I am a huge fan of burgundy, it’s one of my favourite shades ever and it goes with so many things. I wore these with shorts and with jeans during the months and I adore them. I think these are almost my favourite ones out of all of them.

These were my third pair, they are black velvet and from Topshop. I find these are probably the most versatile that I own because they go with all of my darker jeans, as well as black. I find wearing them with black jeans makes my legs look longer as well as blending into the jeans. Since I am a huge fan of velvet too, that’s what made me like these more than regular black as it adds more depth and interest to them I think.

And these are my fourth pair, also from Topshop, but they are more for Autumn/Winter as they are lined with fleece. They are warm and really soft, and again the colour goes nicely with my lighter wash jeans, like my ASH pair. They are the same style as the black velvet pair from Topshop as I am sure you can see, but they are very different in terms of fabric and fleece.

So here are my four pairs together as a collection. I’m sure it would be amazing to own a pair from Isabel Marant, but those are really expensive and I’m happy with my four pairs. Have any of you got any hidden heel high tops too? If so, which ones do you have?

Thank you 🙂 I’m glad you like my blog so much! That means a lot to me. I’m actually about 2 hours from London, I live in the countryside, not the city, but I do go to London quite a few times a year and always post photos! 🙂
