I’m trying to make every post of mine from my trip to Florence with LuisaViaRoma in order of how everything happened, so the post starting off the series is the opening event. We met everyone at the store for a meet and greet before being driven in cars through Tuscany (which is incredible) to Ville Le Corti for dinner. It’s a stunning place and so old! It’s got so much history to it and it’s famous for making some of the best oil/wine in the area. It’s also made of many recycled pieces, so nothing there is brand new, it’s all got some story behind it. The scenery was absolutely incredible though as I am sure you can see from the photos.
It was so nice to meet Andrea, he owns LuisaViaRoma and is such a nice man, you can see one of the last photos in this post of my boyfriend and I with him and Camilla, who is also adorable! I will say though, it’s hard getting used to proper Italian foods with my food intolerance’s/allergies, but I managed. Food sort of came second to the whole event for me, plus being in such heat makes you not want to eat. It’s amazing how different everything is though, I even saw lizards running up and down the outside walls and I have never seen wild lizards here before.
Anyway, this is the outfit that I wore for the opening event, my LOVE Black Hi Low Dress with my Sam Edelman Yelena Sandals which I accessorized with my Rebecca Minkoff Lilac Mini Mac and some Jewellery and a Watch from ASOS. I got a great goody bag too when I arrived, so I wanted to say thank you to Camilla and Simona for that, I wasn’t expecting it! Anyway, what do you think of my outfit and the event? Comment and let me know!

Lorna, I am nearly 50 and I read your blog with great interest. I still work in fashion and probably will do until I retire. I love your freshness your honesty and your youth. Your food intolerances make you normal and we need more honest, young girls to carry on when we go. More strength to you! X
