You probably already know by now that Autumn is my favourite time of the year. It’s cool enough to wear cardigans, boots and jumpers, but it’s not so cold that you need thick coats and hats. It has that perfect temperature which means your wardrobe is limitless! I think I have the most Autumn clothes out of any season and I absolutely adore the rich colour palette that comes with it! All of the burgundy’s, mustard’s, browns, golds etc, it’s so pretty to look at outside on the trees as well as it is on clothing!
I was very excited when Purecollection.com asked me to collaborate with them on this post because they have the perfect range of clothing for Autumn! Everything is made of cashmere and it’s so soft and cosy, you can’t go wrong! You may recognise the first look that I put together above as an outfit I would wear because I absolutely adore burgundy and black together! It’s my favourite combination because it looks so bold and classy at the same time. I opted to style this Pure cashmere boyfriend cardigan in Burgundy with some Topshop black high shine leggings. I love the contrast of the knitted cardigan texture with the waxed wet look leggings. They both complement each other well. To make it stand out more, I added these Giuseppe Zanotti black zipper booties, a Dolce & Gabbana cream bag and some gold jewellery. If I owned all of these pieces, this is exactly how I would wear this look! Just throw on a looser fitting white tank top underneath and then wear the cardigan unbuttoned for that casual vibe and you’re all set!
Now this second outfit above is something I would wear more casually on a day to day basis. I love grey so much and just like people wear all black, I prefer to wear all grey. I’m very pale and blonde, so sometimes I find too much black can be really harsh against my skin tone, where as grey is much softer. I always opt for grey eyeliner and eyeshadow on my eyes as well because black is just too strong for me. The key to wearing an all grey look in my opinion is variation. Opt for different shades of grey in different textures and fabrics, combine some silver and then add a splash of colour and I think it works perfectly!
For this look, I chose a pair of darker grey skinny jeans to go with a lighter grey loose fit Vero Moda knitted jumper. You can choose to wear a really light grey marl or white tank top to go underneath as well for more layering. Keeping with the grey theme, I chose a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti grey twisted zip booties to really make the outfit blend. I wore these boots in Italy back in June for my LuisaViaRoma shoot and I loved them! To break things up a little bit, I went with this Pure pashmina shawl in cream, just to add that little bit of extra warmth and also create more layers. To finish the outfit off, I chose a Michael Kors slim runway watch in silver, a silver anchor necklace and a statement making deep red lipstick. I think the pop of red that the lipstick has will really tie this look together and make it stand out. What do you think?

Glad you like them!
I’m a bit like you, I’d much rather prefer to wear grey than all black! I think it looks especially good mixed with berry colours in Autumn and pastel colours for the Winter!
P.s. I love those boots in your second outfit collage!
