Those of you who know me will know that comfort plays a huge role in my outfits. I don’t have a high tolerance level and if something is irritating me or being painful, I tend to get grouchy and annoyed and don’t want to wear it. This is the reason that I don’t often wear my Christian Louboutin shoes anymore and I opt for more comfortable boots and heels. This outfit here, which I shot last weekend, really is as comfortable as it gets for me. Boyfriend jeans, a simple t-shirt and flat shoes. Sometimes this kind of outfit can look incredibly sloppy though, so the key is finding the right fits and styles for your shape.
I recently fell in love with Diesel Fayza boyfriend jeans and bought a pair from the Diesel outlet a few weeks ago, but I walked into TK Maxx about two weeks ago and saw they had these Diesel Fayza jeans on the rack, in my size, for only £24.99! I didn’t even try them on, I just took them straight to the till to purchase them and I am so happy that I found them! They are incredibly comfortable and the one thing I love about the Fayza fit is the dropped crotch. Sometimes it can make your legs look short, but somehow on the Fayza cut it doesn’t do that at all. These are just pure comfort and I can’t wait to wear them more for press days and travelling! I wanted to go really casual, but add some life to the look, this is why I chose my old Mango Waistcoat printed t-shirt. I have loved this since I purchased it about 6 and a half years ago in the House of Fraser Mango section in Bristol! It may be really old, but I think it’s a classic and I never get tired of it!
As the Fayza jeans have a really gorgeous and intense darker blue wash, I wanted to pair burgundy with them which is why I chose my Topshop Western style belt in burgundy. I purchased this a few months ago and I wanted it to be a belt I would wear at the hips and around the waist, which is why I purchased the size medium and then made extra holes in it myself to wear it around my waist as it would have been too big. It’s a great belt that looks amazing when worn with jeans or around a black dress! To add more burgundy, I wore my new Converse All Star trainers in Ox Suede which I got to choose from Size.co.uk. I’ve always been a fan of Converse, I have been wearing them since I was about 13 or 14. I remember my first pair was a pair of their black high tops with flames on the sides, I wore those everyday until they broke! It’s different for me trying these ones in a suede instead of a canvas though, but I think they are amazing. The colour of them is gorgeous in person, it’s really deep and intense. I just think I would prefer them in the slim version so the white wasn’t as chunky, but they are gorgeous!
Finally, for my accessories, I opted for my Michael Kors Slim Runway watch in silver and a few various bracelets from ASOS to keep with the colour theme! When I just need to go out to run errands or do something simple, this is the kind of look that I favour, however now it’s getting a bit cooler, I’m sure I will be switching the t-shirt out for a quirky jumper/sweater or a cardigan. I do love the location in which we took these photos though, it’s really peaceful and quiet on the country road and the leaves had been falling so it was the perfect setting for the colours in my outfit. I just love how the orange plays off against the blue and burgundy. What do you think of my outfit? Comment and let me know! I always love reading what you have to say!

Thought I’d share my blog post here because I think it’s so neat that a pair of Lorna’s jeans made it all the way to Washington state in the US of A! 😉
