I really hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and Boxing Day! It’s been really nice to have so much free time to be able to do things I don’t usually have the time for. Plus, I’ve definitely been taking advantage of the amazing sales going on right now! I’ve managed to scoop up the glitter flats I wanted on Jimmy Choo for 40% off and I managed to get some blazers, sweaters and things on Zara in the sale! I love this time of year for shopping! There’s always so many amazing Winter pieces you can get!
Speaking of winter outfits, I’ve been thinking a lot lately that I should try out a roll neck sweater. I’ve never really liked them in the past as I feel like you have to be slimmer up the top to wear them, but I’ve been looking around and have seen some really nice slouchy ones, especially the ones made of cashmere on Peter Hahn, they look slouchy and comfortable. What’s your thoughts on a roll neck sweater? I’m pretty sure you will be seeing me in one very soon, if I decide I like how they look on me that is!
Anyway, getting to this outfit, we shot these photos back at the end of October, early November actually, as I’m sure you can tell by the Autumn leaves in the photos. I never got around to posting the look until now, but it’s definitely a little more preppy than I usually go for. I paired my gorgeous Diesel Grupee Jogg Jeans with a Topshop sleeveless denim shirt to go for a double denim look. As I wanted it to look a little more chic and smart though, I layered on a Zara cream sweater over the top to break up the denim and then threw on my Zara beige coat, to add some more structure. I finally finished it off with my Kelya nude heels, just to tie the colour scheme together.
This is definitely an outfit that I ended up really loving the look of. I don’t usually wear sweaters over shirts, but I think it turned out nicely. Plus, these jeans are absolutely amazing! The Jogg Jean from Diesel is super stretchy and comfortable and these are the ones I had wanted since I saw them in Italy back in June 2013. Luckily, I had a Diesel code and was able to buy the last pair with a huge discount! The fit of them is perfect and it’s so nice to be able to wear Diesel back pockets again, I have always found them to be really flattering on the butt. What do you think of them? And of course, I would love to know what you other fashion bloggers and readers think of my outfit too!

Very classic and cool look. Those jeans are full of wonderful color oh and full of wonderful you as well 🙂 That second shot was a wonderful surprise and it worked just amazingly for me. Wow!!! As for a roll neck sweater, I vote yes. Perhaps wear it as a sweater dress. That would be increidble! Lovely shots, dear.
