Wintery White Florals In Spring
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead of you for Easter! I’m really excited about spending the time with my family and having a meal together, and of course using the excuse to eat chocolate, ha ha! You may have noticed on my Instagram that I wore this outfit a couple of weeks ago, even though I had it planned for quite some time. I don’t usually wear all white looks, but I have always wanted to as I find them to be not as popular and more unique than others. I also feel like they add a sense of class or maturity to an outfit which other colours just can’t do.
To freshen up my take on an all white look, I paired my Hudson Nico White Skinny Jeans with my River Island Winter Floral Blazer, which I layered over my Topshop Cream Peplum Top and finished off with my Kelya Nude Heels. I think the pastel tones of the floral print on the jacket really make the white pop and just gives it that something extra to stop it looking boring. I also used a shade of cream and nude to help take it away from that sterile vibe that all white could possibly drift towards sometimes. What do you think of this outfit on me? I would love to know what you fashion bloggers and readers think of it as I always love reading and replying to the comments that you leave me!

When I saw the title of this entry I wasn’t sure that I was going to like the outfit very much. Pure white is the only colour that I tend to steer clear of in clothing. But that’s just me. I look terrible in white (I think most men do though) and I worry about picking up every speck of mud out there if I wear anything white. LOL
However – I have to hand it to you that you look stunning in white. The jeans are perfect on you and the jacket is just beautiful. I especially like how the jacket looks against that big wild bush thing in the background. Once again you’ve found the perfect location. 🙂
So, this will not be enough to encourage me to wear more white – but I can’t argue with how well you’ve got it working.
Happy Easter! 😀

Ohh, nice job with pairing it with a floral blazer. You look really good in white, Lorna! I find white seems to make me look larger hence I’ve always preferred black. LOL!

Yes! I love how you styled the blazer. It seems some of my previous comment got left off…I had also written, that the white makes the outfit very feminin and springy. But I think the blazer would really pop with blue jeans too. And btw, in regards to previous post, glad to know your jeans might be sold at Nordstrom, that would be great!

Oh yeah I didn’t see that in your comment! I think it would go with blue too!

You’ve said before you don’t wear white trousers because they don’t suit you… I must disagree!
These jeans and that shirt you’ve worn this month look amazing on you.
The second pic is, possibly, the best ass shot I’ve seen on your blog!
I also like the jacket and the shoes are very sexy. You wear heels very nicely.
Keep up the good work. Both of you!

Hmm, I don’t recall saying that? Are you sure that was me? I’ve been wearing white jeans since I was about 18 lol. I’ve got blog posts of them too since 2011 I think! I’m really glad you like the outfit though!
In one of your earlier posts you said something like that… I’ll find it 😉

Oh yeah, on my butt as they can be see through, as they were for that photo shoot, ha ha. I wasn’t as confident back then either as I felt a lot bigger, I’m more comfortable now I think 🙂 It’s definitely dependent on the jean though!
