My Hunter Wellies & Rain Boots Collection

This post has been a long time coming! I know a lot of you wanted to see my Hunter wellies/rain boots collection though, so I have finally put one together for you all. I now have 6 pairs of Hunter wellies in total, including Navy Gloss, Cocoa Gloss, Ruby Gloss, Damson Gloss, Black Matte and Aubergine Matte. I of course would still love to expand my collection though, as I would love to add bright yellow gloss to it too! I think the bright yellow version is amazing, it would match my yellow raincoat so well. You might also like my previous post on how to clean your wellies if you are a wellies fan! Anyway, enjoy my collection photos here! I’d love to know which pair of wellies you love the most too!

Hunter Original Tall Damson Gloss

These are my newest wellies! I got them in a discounted sale with 30% off their RRP a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier. I was a little thrown by the colour in person when I got them out of the box as it was different to online, it has more pink undertones to it than red ones, so it’s more lighter than I was expecting, but it’s gorgeous! They look great with black and blue jeans so I can’t wait to wear them more! Buy these wellies here.

Hunter Original Tall Navy Gloss

These were my very first pair of Hunter wellies and probably my favourite! I have worn them so many times on the blog and outside of the blog too, so they have been worn a huge amount. The navy was the perfect colour choice as it goes with all my jeans and is really easy to pair with everything else! I definitely recommend these over the black if you are looking for a classic staple! Buy these wellies here.

Hunter Original Short Ruby Gloss

These were my first pair of shorter Hunter wellies as I was feeling like I needed something that wasn’t quite as tall, a pair that was a little easier to wear. The colour on these is incredible and it might be my favourite out of my whole collection for colour. I even considered owning these in the tall version too, having two pairs of the same colour, but I thought that might be a bit too much! Ha ha! Buy these wellies here.

Hunter Original Tall Matte Black

Since I wear a lot of black jeans and leggings, I was in need of some black wellies to go with them, which is why I chose these ones. I didn’t like the gloss black as I felt they looked a little bit tacky for the type of outfits that I wear, so picking the matte option was the best choice for me. I’ve worn these loads too and I took them in a size bigger so I could wear them with thicker socks in the cold months! Buy these online here.

Hunter Original Tall Cocoa Gloss

Next we have my brown ones! I was looking for a nice pair of brown wellies to go with a lot of my brown accessories, but I wasn’t able to find anything other than the dark chocolate. I finally found the older Cocoa shade and I thought it was perfect. It varies in lights though, sometimes it can be a bean green shade, with sage undertones and then other times it’s a nice rich brown with red undertones. Buy these online here.

Hunter Original Tall Matte Aubergine

Finally we have my purple ones! These are actually quite dark in person and in lower lights can look black, but when in bright daylight they have a really nice aubergine purple shade to them as you can see. I haven’t worn these anywhere near as much as my others as I find them quite hard to match with my clothes as I don’t have many purple pieces, but I should definitely wear them more! Buy these online here.

Wow amazing post! I think my favorite ones from top to bottom are the black matte, navy gloss, damson gloss, cocoa gloss, aubergine matte and the ruby gloss in that order. Not to say the bottom ones looks bad, they look phenomenal on you, its just some look so smashing on you!

I am really looking forward to your yellow ones in the future! I am definitely getting the ones from Beatysaurusrex’s blog. Check hers out!

I think if you really want to expand this collection you should consider the enamel white matte, fuschia matte, black gloss, pillar box red matte, graphite gloss and hunter green matte. Also the union jack ones would look adorable on you and very fitting since you are british. And lastly if you like lace up boots, the Watling line is pretty awesome though you’ll have to find them second hand now.

Oh and a shout out to your joules evedon wellies! Not sure if they are still in your collection but i think they are so cute.

Cheers to you, cheers to Hunter, and cheers to our future matching yellow wellies!

Thank you! Yeah I still have my Jules ones, I don’t wear them much though as the ribbons are a bit girly for me now, but I still love them since they were one of my first pairs! I think if I was adding more than yellow to my collection, I would definitely want to add orange, green and grey too, as well as red. Those would be next after the yellows, but I am running out of space to store all of these now! Being British is probably why I wouldn’t wear the Union Jack ones, we don’t tend to wear our own flag over here, ha ha.

Trust me, you find more room for more wellies lol. Orange is a nice look for hunters but a little limited on outfit options. I have been wearing my grey gloss ones so much this spring, definitely one of my favorites.

Another thing to invest would be some white and red welly socks. I know you have black already so those 2 should be must owns. My black gloss boots and cream socks are soooo cute! I often bump into people with the same combo. Very cute, pops and isnt too over the top.

Oh and btw, you look super hot in those damson wellies. Red is your color darling.

WOW you sure look good in your Wellies, it’s so good to see that you have so many, I’ve got 3 pairs of Huntress Wellies, shiny black which look good with a business suit when I wear them for work, matte navy which I wear when I go in town on a rainy day, I hate getting my Tights splashed and shiny violet which I wear with denim shorts on nights out with my friends and believe me I get plenty of attention when I wear them.
Thank you so much for posting such a lovely article which is very close to my heart.

This is a great collection of photos 🙂 . I think of all the wellies in these photos I like the Cocoa ones the most (and the outfit you’re wearing with them too). That Cocoa colour certainly does puts me in mind of chocolate. They could almost have come from Thorntons. 😉

A nice collection of Hunter wellies and outfits! The common point is that all your wellies are worn with jeans and trousers. Would you consider wearing them with shorts? It seems that shorts also suit you.

It’s generally too cold, however I have worn them with shorts for a festival inspired outfit that I did on my blog before, it’s probably a couple of pages back if you want to look. If you can’t find it, let me know and I will give you the link!

LOL So you did plump for another pair with another pair on the horizon … and you have purchased yourself a yellow raincoat after all ! Which one did you go for after ? Pics please … or are you waiting for a typical British downpour ? LOL You definitely have to get yellow hunters now though … perhaps a bit of a yellow overload but has to be done, and you can always swap them out for navy at times to mix it up a bit. Nice post as usual :o)

Thank you :o) Yeah I did get the Damson pair! My yellow raincoat is actually the Petit Bateau one! I’ve worn it three times already, but not for photos yet. I’ve had many compliments though!

That’s a nice coat, think I said before my long-suffering other half actually tried it on herself but plumped for the Joules one which is pretty similar & had often matched it with navy gloss hunters. You’ll have to sort some photo’s out maybe but then again guess that kinda only works if it’s wet seeing as you’d look a bit daft in a raincoat in the sun. Then again maybe you can arrange for someone to get the garden hosepipe going for full authenticity & recreate a typical British shower LOL Now that sounds like a dare to me LOL ….
Anyway great post as usual, lovely looks & look forward to seeing the coat … for the time being minus the matching hunters :o)
