Grey long waistcoat with skinny jeans and over the knee boots
It’s been a long while since I shared an outfit post with you on my fashion blog, which I apologise for, but I have been a little under the weather recently, so I haven’t really been able to concentrate fully on doing an outfit shoot to the best of my ability. I’m about 90% better now, so I hope it continues that way and doesn’t relapse. I wore this outfit on the weekend though when I went to town with Adam. We had some lunch and then we sat in the park for a while as it was a really nice day, so we enjoyed the sunshine, flowers and nature.
Those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram will probably be thinking that something looks different about me here, and you are right, I had my hair chopped off. I had been contemplating going shorter for a couple of months and I finally made the decision to do it a few days ago. I was really tired of my long hair as it was constantly knotty, really hard to maintain and manage and it looked quite damaged on the ends as the hair was really old, plus, after having hair that long for well over 6 years, I thought it was time for a change. I had about 7 inches taken off in total and I actually donated the hair that I had chopped off to the Little Princess Trust who make real hair wigs for children with cancer. I was so nervous about doing it and thinking that I might hate the new look, but I couldn’t be happier with it. I’m the happiest I’ve been with my hair in a long time and it’s an added bonus to me that I was able to do something helpful and special with my hair by donating it. What do you think of it?
Now getting to my outfit, I wore my AG Raw Hem Legging Jeans which I tucked into my DUO Over The Knee Linden Boots that I’ve had for many years. I’ve not worn them in a long time as I tend to favour heeled boots, but since I’m recovering at the moment, flats have been a blessing to me. I styled them with a simple GAP Top and then layered my Topshop Ponte Sleeveless Jacket in Grey over the top for some layering. I finally finished it off with my Louis Vuitton Alma BB in Fuchsia Epi Leather and a 90’s inspired dolphin ring that I got from ASOS a while back. I quite like how this look turned out as it’s something a little different for me, plus I got to finally take my LV bag out properly for the first time! I would love to know what you think of everything here, including my outfit and my haircut! Let me know in the comments below! I hope you are all well too, I’m really appreciative of all the support you give me!

That’s an absolutely gorgeous hair style. It really does suit you very well. 🙂 I like everything about the outfit too – one of your best combinations, I think.
Oh, and I can’t not mention how much I love the composition of the two photos where you’re framed by whatever that pink blossom is (sorry… I’m not any good at identifying plants) and your bag. 🙂
Nice that your hair has gone to a good cause too. Good for you. 🙂
