TODS Scooby Doo Driving Shoes With Skinny Jeans
Thank you so much to all of you for the support you gave me when I mentioned what I’m going through at the moment. It’s really kind to know how much you are all there for me and encouraging me. Thankfully the tablets have started to work quite well now and the headaches have subsided, so things are getting a little better, just waiting on my test results to come back still.
These photos were taken a while back and I’ve had them ready for posting for a while, but hadn’t had the chance to share them with you. I was excited to wear this outfit as I got to wear my new TODS Gommino Scooby Doo Shoes in Tobacco. I paired them with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Stage Coach and a simple Sparkle & Fade top that I have had for a long time. Finished off with my Mulberry Mini Taylor in Deer Brown and some various jewellery pieces. I took these shoes in size 39 and they fit well, but unfortunately they hurt my heels quite a bit so I think they are only suitable with socks which is a shame because they are truly gorgeous! Have any of you got TODS?
On another note, June the 5th is approaching for the WWF Wear It Wild campaign and I’d still love for you to show me what animal outfit you will be wearing on the day. I did a post for the WWF blog (which you can see here) and it shows you some ways on how to make an animal inspired look yourself with pieces in your wardrobe. Anyway, please do let me know what you think of my outfit, I always love to read your comments and thoughts!

Thank you 🙂
I love this outfit, it is exactly something I would wear, hahaha! I love colour but I can’t resist a good set of neutrals. Interesting to hear about the fit of your Tods. I find the drivers quite comfortable and have never heard of them rubbing or hurting anyones heels. Its good to know and to take into consideration next time I’m trying on some pairs.

I think it might be my awkward heels, I mean a lot of flat shoes do this to me when they don’t to others. I have thin skin and boney feet which I think might be the cause of it, so if your TODS fit you good, I think you would be fine!
I have oddly shaped, boney feet too and I find that mine rub in other places. That is too bad though because they make such beautiful shoes! ps- you always reply right away, but aren’t you like six or seven hours ahead of me!?!? Go to sleep! Hahaha!

I might be, it’s just gone midnight here. I tend to sleep at 2am and get up at 10am, weird schedule, ha ha.
Love the top Lorna! Hope you feel better!

I’m really pleased to read that you’re starting to feel a touch better. 🙂
I like everything about this outfit. Those jeans and that top look fabulous together and I really like the shoes too. Usually shoes are the last thing I notice about an outfit but these do look great. Sorry to read that they’re hurting your feet though. 🙁
Do you ever wear those invisible sock things? Those ones that only go on the feet and don’t come above the top of the shoe. I bought some a few weeks back (for the first time ever) and the first time I tried them out I managed to walk out of both socks by the time I reached town. Maybe I just bought nasty cheap ones or maybe my feet are strange? I suppose they must work for some people.
Oh, and great composition in these photos again. I love the halo of green around you. 🙂

Thank you Steven! Really glad you like the look 🙂 Yeah I’ve tried the shoe socks, the really small ones. You can get more expensive ones with grips in the heel, which my boyfriend has, they don’t slip down then. The cheaper ones definitely slip. I have Key Socks though, which are totally amazing! They are long socks, but the top area is completely cut out, so between the shoes and jeans, all you see is skin, the rest of the sock is hidden! So cool!

Ah, that’s very interesting Lorna. I wasn’t aware that ones with grips even exist! The cheap ones I bought were an impulse buy really – I wasn’t searching for them but they just suddenly struck me as a good idea. Where did your boyfriend get his from? I might have to look into getting some if they’re not too harshly priced. I walk just about everywhere really so it sounds like they’d be really good for me in the warmer weather.
As for the ones you have… well it’s amazing what can be invented! lol What a clever idea! 🙂

I will ask him and then let you know 🙂 It’s a great idea isn’t it!
Thanks, that’d be great. My feet and I would be most grateful to him. ☺

Thank you ali!
Those shoes look as though they are loose in the lateral axis. If they’re slipping up and down around the sides of your feet that would be abrading the skin on your heels where the pivot point is. This usually happens in footwear without a well-defined heel cup or a firm sole. Which they look like. I think it’s the shoes, not your feet.
That gastric problem sounds nasty; I hope it’s clearing.

Thanks! I think they pretty much dig in, the rope around them doesn’t help with that as it makes them tighter. I think socks should do the trick though. My Giuseppe Zanotti flats are so comfortable, they don’t cause me any pain at all. And thank you!
Such a pretty look, love your shoes. *__*

I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better again Lorna. You look adorable. Love your flats. Sorry they hurt your heel. I don’t have Tods but a similar pair from Esprit and they don’t hurt me at all. Usually my feet always hurt without socks 😀
