Dinosaurs Are Fashionable Too

The Dinosaur Sweater With Skinny Jeans

Thank you to everyone for your well wishes at the moment. I’ve been resting as much as I can and thankfully, thanks to the antibiotics, I’m feeling about 75% better and trying to catch up with things. They have unfortunately given me some bad side effects so I’ve needed to stop them a day early, but I think I am on the mend and everything is going to be ok. Just a matter of time. I really appreciate all of your support though, it means so much to me.

This is an outfit that we shot a few weeks ago in the rain as we had little choice thanks to this amazing (not!) weather we have been having. I thought this dinosaur sweatshirt was amazing! It’s a man’s version from the Natural History Museum in London, in size XS, but isn’t it so cute? It takes me back to my childhood tomboy days! It does come in women’s too, but in a dark grey shade more than a light one, so I preferred the men’s Dinosaur print myself! It’s really slim fitting too, which for a men’s sweatshirt actually surprised me. I’m really happy with it!

I styled the dinosaur sweatshirt with my Citizens of Humanity Rocket Jeans in Axel (which are finally on sale!) and layered over my French Connection burgundy coat. This was a bit of an impulse styling and I chose a Topshop bobble hat and my RAYE grey heels to finish it off, but I like how it came out. Who said dinosaurs couldn’t be a fashionable choice for fashion bloggers? I certainly think they can! But then I love anything quirky and fun like this, it just adds something extra to my outfits. Do you like it? I’d love to know what your thoughts are on dinosaur print in a fashionable way!

It’s great!!! 🙂 I love the quirkiness of it and it’s something that I’d very happily wear myself, I think. Plus the colours in it means it’ll match with just about anything. It’s very eye-catching too. Do you get a lot of comments when you’re out wearing it? I’d imagine a lot of kids take a second look especially?

If dinosaurs are not in fashion then you’re certainly helping to get them there. It takes me back to my childhood too! My brother and I had quite a few dinosaur toys (mostly from our uncle who worked in a museum) and when I was 7 or 8 I remember a big poster of all the main dinosaurs being on the wall in my classroom at school. Alas my favourite dinosaur, Compsognathus, hasn’t made it onto your outfit but we can’t have everything! 😉

I’m really pleased to read that you’re recovering nicely too. 🙂

I had to google that dinosaur to see what it looked like! You are like Adam, liking the more rarer ones that aren’t as common. He used to love dinosaurs too 🙂 I think this type of jumper would look really cool on you actually, now I know what your style is like, you would definitely wear it well! I actually haven’t had chance to wear this out to town or anywhere where there’s a lot of people around, but I imagine it would get a lot of looks if I did.

I admit that I think I originally took to Compsognathus mostly over it having the best name. 😉

Love how well your coat and beanie match in this outfit, and the dinosaur top is a very fun print 🙂 I’ve been Christmas shopping for my toddler and there are so many cute dinosaur designs, a lot of them make me giggle! 🙂

So glad you are on the mend. I’ve had negative side effects from antibiotics and it was no fun. I love the fashionable dinosaurs, why not. Very quirky in deed, in a very good way. You look great, the pops burgundy are just stunning.

oh that dinosaur top is too fun. I have been to the Museum of Natural History here in New York, have not been to the one in London but I bet it is grand. Would love to visit London again some day. You look great.
