All Saints Papin Leather Biker Jacket With Skinny Jeans

My outfit with the All Saints Papin Leather Biker Jacket is finally here! I reviewed it and modelled it for you a few weeks ago, but said I would share the full outfit soon and here it is. This is actually my second time wearing this leather jacket out and I love it. It’s stretched quite nicely now and fits well. I would plan on wearing it more, but the sudden drop in temperature has meant that it’s just not warm enough unfortunately for a leather jacket. It wasn’t long ago I was saying how warm it’s been for this time of year and now all of a sudden it’s sub zero! We were supposed to be getting some snow which I was excited about, but none came my way. It snowed in London and various other parts of the country a lot, but it never comes down south! I’m still holding out hope, but at the same time I need it to warm back up because the freezing temperatures aren’t doing my health any favours unfortunately.

So getting to my outfit, I layered my All Saints Papin Leather Biker Jacket over one of my GAP Merino Wool Sweaters in grey (similar). I like this leather jacket for wearing with longer sleeve tops since its sleeves are cropped and it works out best with something like this. I wanted to keep my jeans black, so I went with my Levi’s Black Skinny Jeans (similar) and then tucked them into my Kurt Geiger Winona Boots which I have had for years now and still absolutely adore. Finally, as I wanted to add some colour to the black and grey combination, I went with my raspberry/burgundy Topshop Scarf, which helped with the added warmth as well. I feel like an outfit like this is usually one of my staples, but I haven’t worn it in a very long time. I’d love to know what you think of the leather biker jacket and skinny jeans combination though. Is it something you wear often? As always, you can click the name of the products to buy them and there’s also links at the very bottom of this post too!

There’s been so snow here in Lincoln either – I’m not sorry about that as it makes my walk to and from work very tricky if it settles and freezes. 🙂 There’s been some down south were my nephew is as he’s had enough to make a snowman and a snow dog too. 😀

I love the outfit. The combination of those jeans and that jacket is highly effective, eye catching and compliments your figure so nicely – the whole outfit has such a gorgeous shape/profile to it. Those particular black jeans are probably my favourites of the black jeans that I’ve seen you in. They’re perfect really, aren’t they? 🙂 The splash of colour from the scarf is great too. I also very much like your boots. They look both sturdy and pretty at the same time. 🙂

It looks a nice location too. It always amazes me how you manage to get so many shots with nobody wandering into the background. It must take you ages having to wait for those brief moments where nobody is about? 😀

That “so” in my first sentence should be “no” of course. :O

Thank you Steven 🙂 So glad you like everything. Yep, you are right. We have to wait for people to pass and it takes a lot of time and a lot of awkward moments where they stop and wait for you to take a photo and stare at you, you have to wave them on etc. Blogger moments lol. Yeah these jeans are great, I’ve had them since 2011 I believe, they still fit really perfectly!

2011? That’s great. 🙂 Mind you, I have a couple of pairs of Levi’s (though not black) that I’ve had for about that length of time too and they’re still as great as they were when I got them. 🙂

Oh wow! That’s a thought! I’d imagined the difficulty you sometimes have in waiting for those moments when nobody is getting into shot but I’d not really thought about the potential awkwardness of having random people just stopping and staring at you while you’re trying to get your work done. :O

Yeah, it can definitely be crazy and intimidating lol, I don’t think most people realise that. Or you’re mistaken for a tourist and we have had many people ask if we want them to take our photo together rather than one each lol.

Lol, it’s more tricky in winter since my coats are often really long.

Lorna the Grey, black and burgundy is such a lovely combination ♡

We’ve had snow here already… as long as it doesn’t turn into ice, I’ll be fine with it. .. I do hope the weather gets better for you soon so that your health can improve xox ♡♡

LUUV this outfit and love all saints jackets.

Hey Lorna, hope I’m not a bother with my question.

Ive bought a few things from AEO but never jeans. I was thinking of buying a pair. Since its been a few years could I ask how well your AE jeans, I know you have a few not just this one, have held up? Specifically the jeggings. Have they stretched out? If so to an unwearable degree? How many months/years would you say the lifespan is? Thanks if you could reply soon, you’re always so helpful.

Hey! I haven’t found they hold up well actually. The fit is nice and they look good, but they stretch out really quickly and get baggy. The denim definitely doesn’t hold its shape like I’m used to. I’m not sure on the life span though as I think that would depend purely on how often you are wearing and washing them. I don’t really wear mine much so I can’t say for certain, sorry! Glad you like my outfit though!

Thanks for responding. I know you’re the expert and I appreciate your advice. I even once bought a kimono (something I’d never have worn) after viewing one of your outfit posts. Every time I wear it I get compliments. ^_^

You look fabulous Lorna, and I love this chic yet sassy outfit. You’ve styled it beautifully, and I love the burgundy tones. We had a hint of snow here in London on one day only, but it melted away by mid-morning and didn’t settle!

I hope the weather improves where you are, so you feel better and don’t have any more health problems.

    Best wishes,

    Saba x
