Here it is! I know it’s a month since I was in St. Ives, but as I had so many outfit posts and my engagement to Adam to announce, I wanted to wait and round it out with the St. Ives photo diary of our holiday. We stayed in the same B&B as before, it’s called 27 The Terrace, and you could say it’s more like a 5 star B&B or a small, fancy boutique hotel as it’s absolutely gorgeous there. It’s our favourite place and we don’t even feel like we need to try anywhere else, it’s become a second home.
St. Ives is one of, if not our most, favourite places in the world now and Adam and I are even considering living there when we are married, if we can. It would be a dream come true for us to be honest, so it’s definitely something to think about more and try to plan. The views are just incredible with the bright blue sea, the cliffs, the quaint villages and houses, the friendly people, and the relaxation of being by the beach all the time, it feels like such a safe place to be and we loved going out in the evening too, just to explore.
I’ve put captions beneath all of these photos and I don’t think I need to do much more explaining about how amazing the holiday was, but I think it was the best holiday I have ever been on. Not just because Adam proposed to me, but because it was so relaxing and the weather was beautiful. It’s a holiday that I will remember for the rest of my life and I’m happy to have such lovely photos. I’ve included a few photos of my engagement ring here as well as I know you are wanting to see it! Let me know what you think of St. Ives and the photos we took while there!

Lorna, it is really wonderful that you have all these photos to remind you of one of them most important days… although I am sure you have a vivid memory of that day… it’s pretty special xox … The views, sunset and ocean is gorgeous and your ring is really pretty, it looks awesome on your hand… What a beautiful vacation and beautiful memories for a life time xox

Thank you so much, Launna! I agree, the memories are vivid in my head still, but I know over time they will start to fade which is why I’m really glad that we have photos to remember it all by!
Massive congratulations! That’s so exciting and what lovely pictures! I actually have started a wedding series on my blog with some hints and tips etc… (might be a bit early but never too early to plan!)

Wow Lorna it looks like paradise! You’ve captured so many stunning views of St. Ives! I can see why you love it so much, and want to live there once you get married. I also love the interesting details you’ve captured, like the rainbow sculptures in the shop window, and the customised chocolate, which looks delectable! Your engagement ring is stunning, and Adam made an excellent choice! Thank you for sharing your photo diary!

You’re welcome! I’m so glad you liked the photos, Saba! It honestly is one of the most amazing places and I adore it so much, I can never wait to go back!
It’s a pleasure to see such lovely photos! It sounds like St. Ives is your spiritual home Lorna! For me, it’s London’s Covent Garden, but it’s unlikely I could afford to live there, haha!
I hope you’re enjoying the weekend. xx

Yes! It really is! I feel so at home there, I did the moment I got there! Convent Garden is lovely though, just too busy for me xx.
I think I would quite like to have a chocolate seagull! 😀
These are a lovely set of photographs and I can certainly see why you’re considering the possibility of living there. Mind you, you’d have to go on holiday somewhere less pretty if you did. 😉
I especially like the evening shots – they’re rather magical looking.

You know what that means though, just don’t go on holiday right? Cheaper and you never have to leave the beauty behind! Ha ha 😀 The chocolate seagull was cool though, it always amazes me how they make food sculptures! 🙂
great photography, place and everything.. i hope you enjoyed so much, Lorna!

Thank you 🙂 I have a lot of food allergies and intolerance’s, so the food I eat isn’t interesting, not worth taking photos of unfortunately. That was the only meal that was!
Ahh that is so unfortunate :/ I hope it doesn’t hold you back too much 🙂 x
