The REISS Somerset Trench Coat in Tiramisu Outfit
Happy Sunday everyone! I mentioned in my latest wish list post that I had gotten this REISS Somerset Trench Coat in Tiramisu and was going to show you an outfit with it very soon. Well, here it is! I’m really new to REISS as a brand as I’ve only just started getting into it, but I am completely besotted now. I went into the Bath boutique a couple of weeks ago and everyone in there was lovely, especially Hannah, helping me with everything I needed, so it’s my new go to brand. Not to mention that everything they have fits my personal style so much. It’s smart, chic, classy, and tailored, which is what I look for in my clothing these days.
The Somerset Longline Trench Coat is literally one of the best trench coats I have ever looked at and felt. The quality of it is beautiful and it’s so well fitted and made, you can’t go wrong with it. You can wear it numerous ways, included how I am wearing it here, undone, done up fully, or without the belt. It’s one of the only coats that will actually do up all the way on me without being too tight in the chest department too! So that’s a bonus! It features a small point collar, front storm flaps, slanted side pockets, a double breasted fastening, a self tie waist belt, and a single back vent. It’s got so many little details to it!
I took this coat in size UK 8 as I wasn’t sure whether or not I would need the 6 or 8, but this one fits well for me. It’s slightly loose if I don’t wear a warmer jumper underneath it, but as long as I do, it’s perfect. The Tiramisu colour is just stunning too. It’s a cross between a pale shade of mocha, but it enters into the cool grey and off white tones too, so it’s perfect for switching seasons! I’m sure I will be styling this just as good in the Autumn months as I am in the Spring.
I decided to wear my REISS Somerset Trench Coat with my Hudson Barbara Skinny Jeans in Bazooka, my Jimmy Choo Romy 85 Heels in Khaki Brown, and my Valentino Mini Lock Bag in Light Ivory. I think it all paired well together and I like that the different neutral shades complement the coat. I only included a little pop of colour with a pink hue on my lips. I can guarantee that you will definitely be seeing this trench coat in many more outfits to come, it’s quickly become one of my favourites now! What do you think of my outfit? I would really love to know in the comments below!

Almost the perfect trench, and it seems exactly the right length for you.

Thank you! What would make it more perfect?
I think it could use about an inch and a half less back vent. Other than that, I got no complaints. 🙂

Ha ha, it might be open so much purely because my butts quite large! 😀
What a great trench! A very feminine and classic cut :-*

Hi Lorna! You look absolutely stunning and I adore the trench coat. The tailoring is impeccable and I love the sharp silhouette it creates. You look so elegant and timeless. The colour is also unusual and very refined. I’ve never thought of wearing Reiss before, as I assumed their items would be very expensive and not really my style. But this coat looks lovely on you, and you’ve styled it perfectly for a sophisticated head-to-toe look.
Lots of love Saba xx

Thank you so much, Saba! I thought the same originally that it wouldn’t be my style, but it definitely is. So happy you love it!
Very elegant indeed! It’s such a lovely colour too. It will be interesting to see what else you wear it with in the coming months. I can certainly easily imagine it looking fabulous in Autumn as you go kicking through the fallen leaves in it. 😉

That sounds like a good idea to me! Any suggestions on what else I should wear it with? 🙂
A top in green maybe? Not just because I love green but also because I think a subdued shade of dark or olive green would be perfect with it. I’m thinking green sweater and grey jeans with boots or flatter shoes?
I hope green and grey is not too predictable from me… OK… I know it is… 😉 I like what I like… but I do think there’s a genuine case to say those colours would compliment the coat really well. 🙂
Author
I actually think you could be onto something there, an olive green or khaki top and grey jeans might work well with it! It is predictable though!
Indeed! 😀 Guilty as charged! For a slightly less predictable suggestion I also think orange and white would be nice with it too. Orange top… white jeans? 🙂
Author
You’re on a roll! There’s an orange scarf from Burberry that I have my eye on, I think that could work too!
OK, I’ll stop there then. Two good ideas in one day is probably my limit. 😉 LOL

You might be more in tune with fashion than you think, lol 😀 But ok!
