Just a simple black and white selfie with some extra volume in my hair
It’s been such a long time since I did an Instagram roundup for you all here on my fashion blog! I know a lot of you follow me on Instagram anyway, but there’s still quite a lot of you who don’t and you end up missing out on my photos that I share there. I always feel like my Instagram is an extension of my blog and my life anyway, so it’s the place I always share things in the moment and whatever is new, while my blog is slightly behind in time since things are scheduled in advance due to it requiring a lot more work than just a simple photo upload with some tags.
I think the last time I posted Instagram snaps was actually around Christmas time, so it’s been a good 6 months without me sharing any with you! Luckily, I’ve taken quite a lot during that time which I think are worthy of sharing with you all here! I did an Instagram takeover for Visit Bath quite a while ago now (as you know) so I have included some of those photos here with you too, showing you the shops and scenery of my city of Bath! It was so much fun, but of course I have things like selfies, new purchases, food and more, so there’s a whole mix of everything. I hope you’re enjoying your week! Lorna xx.
Some gorgeous espadrilles and decor inside Seven Boot Lane

Square is a designer shop in Bath that was part of the Instagram takeover I did for Visit Bath
This is Milsom Place, it’s home to so many great shops and restaurants
A beach selfie taken a couple of weeks ago (you can see the full outfit here)
One of my favourite restaurants to eat called Loch Fyne
This is what I usually eat there: tuna steak, fries and green beans
Another favourite store of mine during the Instagram takeover – Reiss
One of the many churches in Bath that I always think are gorgeous
This was ages ago, but it’s the cheesecake Adam and I made for his birthday cake
As I live in the country, there’s so many nice little villages around here and this looked picturesque
I thought this display in Anthropologie was really colourful and bright
Some beautiful swallow earrings from Azendi that I’ve been wearing
A top down shot of my Gucci Princetown loafers and Citizens of Humanity skinny jeans
My first time here showing you my new haircut that I got last week as I had my fringe put back in
My mum and I went to see Shirley Valentine at the theatre a couple of months ago
This little snail was in the car so I kept him safe until we got home and I could put him in the garden
How can you not take a photo of the sky when it looks as incredible as this?
Some beautiful purple flowers to cheer up any day!
From London when Adam and I went shopping on Bond Street
You’ve seen it before, but here’s my Chanel Wallet On Chain Bag that I purchased
A faux ladybug tattoo on my wrist
And finally, a photo I edited and worked on in support of Red Nose Day

Thanks, John! Yes, we have Comic Relief here in the UK, it’s a huge thing! It’s actually a UK founded charity in 1985, so it originated from here!
Thanks for the info Lorna, I learned something new today! 👍🏻

Happy to be of service, ha ha!
Oh Yeah, I love Bath! And those swallow earrings are really beautiful!

Thank you so much, Nancy!
Such great pics! Those espadrilles are so stylish, I found similar ones at the GAP store here in the U.S. but they didn’t have my size. I think they go with so many outfits, must get my hands on some. You look awesome in your selfies!! Have a great rest of the week babe.

Your pictures are lovely! Reiss always look like they have such classy and elegant pieces in, but so out of my budget at the moment haha 🙂 x

Yeah they do, but they have a 50% off sale right now 😀
That tuna meal looks so good. I could very happily order that myself. 😀
I love the snail photo. You’ve captured an astonishing amount of character in that shot. 🙂
Why is there no oven in the Shirley Valentine theatre set!!! I’d not do very well in that kitchen… Oh well, I guess it must be against one of the imaginary walls that the audience look through. 😉
Lovely bunch of photos. 😀

I know the stove was on the left, with the black mass on top the counter area, so that’s where she fried the eggs and actually cooked them lol! She made real chips and eggs and during the scene change, one of the stage clearers was eating them! I could see, even though it was dark, so that made me chuckle 😀
You wouldn’t think the snail picture was taken with my iPhone either, would you? It really did capture so much detail!
And the tuna meal is actually delicious, if you ever have a Loch Fyne by you, I recommend it chargrilled 🙂
Oh wow! I’m impressed that everything was plugged in. I hope she didn’t break the yolks… 😉 Yes, excellent photo. It’s amazing how quickly photography technology advances. 😀
I had no idea that Loch Fyne is a chain. I’ve only ever heard of it through you. 🙂 I just assumed it was a one off place. How silly of me… now I’m Googled it and I see there are lots of them. 🙂 It looks like the closest to me is the Nottingham one. I’ll keep that thought in mind. 🙂

Yeah! It’s a chain! Next time you’re there, you should definitely check it out. It is pretty price though, that’s the downfall, so go when there’s offers or sign up to the mailing list for discount too, that’s what we do! Or if you have gourmet card, they take that! 🙂
beautiful photos, Your black and white photo is beautiful
I think for portraits, are prettier in black and white

Great photos, thanks for sharing! I think instagram round ups like this are a really good idea as instagram is so frustrating not showing you the photos of people you follow. A while back instagram feed went crazy for me and started showing me 2 day old and less than 30 minutes old pictures, that’s all I get to see, grr. haha.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! 🙂

Gosh I know! I hate the new system too, only showing you what it thinks you will like, most the time what I see is stuff that I have zero interest in at all, and I miss everyone else’s, so it doesn’t please me either lol. Glad you like them 🙂
You look stunning in black and white! Those are some cute espadrilles too xx

Thank you!
I don’t know if I do follow you on Instagram actually – off to check right now and follow if I’m not!

These images are beautiful Lorna, and you’ve captured lots of interesting details and moments. Thank you for sharing them on your blog, as I’m a little behind the times when it comes to Instagram, so it’s lovely seeing a round-up post like this. I love your new haircut with the fringe, it frames your face beautifully and looks very stylish, and the black and white selfie is very chic and timeless.
Lots of love Saba xx
