As you know, Adam and I got engaged last year in July at St. Ives and it was tough for a while learning to call him my fiance, which I still feel awkward saying sometimes because it always brings the age old question of ‘when are you getting married?’ and it’s never something I can answer with a date. So to clarify that for everyone, we both want to live together once we get married and neither of us are in a position to do that at the moment so the wedding wont be just yet. We’re in no rush, marriage doesn’t change our actual relationship so there’s no urgency right now.
With that being said though, it never stops me looking at wedding dresses and getting inspiration for what I want to wear from time to time. I have narrowed it down to what I love and what I think I want in a wedding dress, so there’s a few different options, which is why I have put this blog post together to share with you the type of style I would go for. We are going to have a small wedding which is just close family, so there’s no big event, no over the top decor etc., just something simple and elegant, so really the dress is going to be the main focal point in terms of physical items at a wedding.
I’ve taken a lot into account with my body shape, whether or not I want lace (I do! No pun intended!) and whether certain materials or shapes are better suited to me, and these are the type of choices I’ve come up with. I’m really happy to be partnering with Enzoani on this blog post as they have some incredible wedding dresses. The brand emerged in 2006 and quickly rose to compete with top brands by merging traditional and modern European styles into exquisitely handcrafted gowns. It was founded by London College of Fashion graduate, Kang Chun “KC” Lin, who is the creative mastermind behind the design and development. I’ve chosen these 5 particular gowns from them as my inspiration, so take a look below and see which ones I love the look of. Which is your favourite?
I think this Molly dress might actually be my favourite of the 5 I selected. When I look at it my heart melts. The lace, embroidery, and the train are all so glamorous, but the buttoned back is sort of sexy at the same time. It’s a full-length lace and tulle mermaid gown which features a modern illusion bateau bodice and matching illusion back that complements the figure-hugging skirt and flowing tulle layers of the romantic train. It’s almost got everything I would want in a wedding dress as I am going for something lace, buttoned in the back, and tulle inspired.
Now this dress might be slightly more suited to me as it’s a little less extravagant. I like the feminine, flowy, and classic vibe it has to it. I wasn’t sure if I wanted an A-line gown, but this one has all the makings of a picture-perfect bride. It features a sweetheart neckline on a corded lace bodice, coupled with a dreamy tulle skirt with a waist-cinching tulle bow sash at the waist. I love the lace effect that it has and how it’s nipped in at the waist, but the skirt isn’t so overwhelming. It’s a more subtle, but still extremely stunning wedding dress that might just be ideal for me.
Much like the dress above, this Leann version is a little more dainty and fairy tale inspired. It’s a full length, A-line skirt with cascading tiers of soft tulle and chiffon, creating a lovely silhouette that’s elegant and delicate. It’s got beads around the belt and straps, which work well with the beading on the bodice of the dress. It’s so beautiful, when I look at it it just oozes romance in my opinion. I would definitely feel special in it, but it doesn’t have as much lace which is its only downfall.
Just like the third dress I featured (Leann), this stunning piece really caught my eye too. It’s classic, romantic, and angelic. A full-length sheath gown is something special with the long layers of tulle flowing down from a flattering sweetheart neckline bodice. The beaded cap sleeves and the matching beaded belt at the waist just add the loveliest sparkle and shimmer, while the plunging scoop back offers an alluring detail. This is a type of wedding dress that I am really inspired by. It doesn’t have as much lace, but it’s so demure and elegant, it just looks classy and special. I could definitely see myself in a dress like this I think!
Finally, this is the Lynne gown. It’s very similar to the Leann with the intricately beaded bodice, but more amplified with the skirt. It’s a sultry, sweet, and sophisticated full-length gown with a twist – it’s two dresses in one! It features a detachable tulle A-line skirt that transforms a classic stretch georgette mermaid silhouette into a fairytale dream. It also has a bateau illusion neckline over a sweetheart neckline on an illusion, beaded embroidered lace bodice. It’s so feminine, elegant and chic all at the same time, it just looks perfect. The skirt is long so it almost has a train to it, but that just adds to the special appeal that the Lynne has. What do you think of it?
– So these are my top 5 wedding dress choices from Enzoani and I love them all!
Along with these dresses, if you are on the lookout for a wedding ring that will make a mark on your big day, I would recommend going with Kimberfire. They have the best quality rings and expert craftsmanship to provide you with the best ring according to your preferred style.
My checklist for a gown that I want definitely needs tulle, a full length, embroidery or lace on it, and ideally I would love a buttoned up back. I would love to know which wedding gown you think is the best here!

Oh, tough choice! To my eyes the Leann just edges into first place although the Molly is also really pretty too.

It’s a tough decision between them all isn’t it!
I’m a firm believer in fanciful, totally unreal wedding gowns. Put me down as a vote for “Molly”.

Ha ha, ok!
I love the first Enzoani and the Molly dress! So do you live far apart now then?

Yeah, we do. We’re still doing long distance at the moment.
My fave were the first 2. I totally fell in love with them . But they were all so elegant. The first one will make any bride feel sexy elegant and flawless. It’s just so nice, not too extravagant but at the same time really pretty. The detailing of the lace was also very incredible. It’s just so beautiful
The second one, I fell in love with it, I’m not someone who usually goes for A-line dresses. But it was just so well structured. It’s got that feminine simple fairytaly yet classy vibe to it. The color even makes it so much more beautiful. You know when a dress is so simple it’s incredibly beautiful. The lace was also well detailed. They just so pretty I’m finding it hard to describe them
If you are looking to leave a statement, the first one would be the best but if u into something a bit more simple but elegant then u should go for the 2nd. But they are all just so pretty

Thank you for your thoughts! I’m struggling to pick between them as well. Maybe something else might come along and sweep me off my feet, but for now it’s an impossible choice!
Hi Lorna! These dresses are stunning, and I can see why you love them all! They all have such a romantic and glamorous feel to them, with lots of intricate detailing which makes them really special. I was curious to know what kind of wedding dress you had in mind, so it was exciting to see this post. I adore all the dresses, but the final one is my personal favourite. I love the detailed bodice and the fact it features a detachable tulle A-line skirt! That’s genius!
Lots of love Saba xx
