12 Funky Unisex Christmas Jumpers

12 Funky & Cool Unisex Christmas Jumpers

When it comes to December, I’m all about Christmas jumpers! Heck, I’ve been wearing them in November too! That’s how much I love them. I’m no stranger to creating different outfits that incorporate festive knitwear either as I’m sure you can remember quite a few of the outfits I’ve worn on my fashion blog that include them! For those of you who are newer to Raindrops of Sapphire, or those who just want to see again, I’ve included some of my favourites at the bottom of this post. I couldn’t include my light up snowman though as it’s a Boomerang video I took on Instagram, so click here to see that flashing in all its glory!

Last year you might have remembered that Adam gave me this super cool Marvel Captain America Christmas Jumper which you can see above (available in the US here), and I’m planning on wearing it again soon. He has the Street Fighter one that I got him from the same brand, so we might go matching! I also have a new Christmas sweatshirt that I wore a couple of weeks ago and will be featuring on the blog very soon, other than that one that I got on ASOS for £10 with my voucher, I haven’t bought any new ones as I’m making do with the jumpers I have. However, that doesn’t stop me eyeing up this amazing one from Topshop (click here) because that’s like the ultimate ugly Christmas jumper that I love!

Since Christmas jumpers have been getting increasingly popular over the last few years though and it’s now considered cool to wear them, not silly, I thought it would be good to share with you 12 different unisex Christmas jumpers that I love for December (includes the 2 above)! By unisex I mean that some are men’s and some are women’s, however that usually never stops me or other guys I know from wearing the opposite sex. At least 3 of mine are men’s jumpers (including my new ASOS one), so there’s nothing wrong with that at all! If they fit you and they suit you, that’s what counts! Some (like the reindeer and sprout options from Aloof) even come in both men’s and women’s. So check out my 10 funky unisex Christmas jumpers round up! Let me know which ones you love!

Topshop Sequin Penguin Christmas Jumper

I thought this one was super cute and fun! I admit this one might not be that suitable for the guys, but it’s definitely one of those easy to wear, fine knits that is festive, but tasteful. I don’t find it tacky at all and I think it would look great layered under a coat. Plus, grey literally goes with everything!

Jack Wills Fairisle Crew Neck

This one might be one of my favourites! I adore burgundy (I know, you’re saying ‘Really Lorna? We didn’t know! Ha ha!) and the white with the pink fairisle print is classic. It’s one of those pieces you could actually wear even when it’s not the festive period. It’s versatile and fashionable!

GANT Fairisle Christmas Jumper

This one is a men’s jumper, but I would definitely wear it myself. I think if you’re going for a more high quality, branded festive jumper then this is it! A mixture of navy, red, and cream is always good and a fairisle print with stars? Subtly festive in a stylish and easily wearable way!

Aloof Off White Rudolph Christmas Jumper

Now these Christmas jumpers are so much fun! I just found out about Aloof this year and they’re so cute! This is the Rudolph Reindeer version (men’s here) and it comes in numerous colours too, but it’s the sewn on crochets are hand knitted using a technique called miniature amigurumi! So all the little reindeer’s are made by hand and then sewn onto a wool jumper, which I think is really honourable. Most festive knitwear is done entirely by machine and as a fast fashion, but these little crochet’s have a lot of thought and care put in!

New Look Black Gingerbread Fairisle Knitted Jumper

How cute is this one? Little gingerbread men in a fairisle print with hearts and Happy Holiday’s written on it! This would work for both men and women in my opinion and as it’s black, can be styled with multiple things!

ASOS Curve All Things Christmas Jumper

One thing I love about ASOS is that they have a great Curve range, so for those out there that get annoyed that Christmas jumpers don’t go to bigger sizes, they do! I think this one is ideal for a fun and adorable look, it’s just super cute all over!

New Look Pale Grey Penguin Jumper

This one is a men’s jumper, but I think it’s unisex as it’s something I would wear myself. Little penguins and Christmas trees make up a fairisle print, plus it’s adorned with snowflakes too which make it even more fun! And like I said above, grey goes with everything!

Pull & Bear Fair Isle Jumper in Burgundy

This one is similar to the Jack Wills one that I featured above on the woman. A burgundy fairisle knit is always festive and easy to wear, even for other months, plus it works for both genders. As you can tell, I’m all about knitwear like this!

Topshop Christmas Candy Cane Jumper

Then we have a slightly more feminine one, a candy cane covered jumper! How cool is that? I think it shows more of a unique side and that you like to think outside the box and be different. Not many sweaters have candy canes on them like this, so you have a higher chance of being the only one!

Aloof Off White Brussel Sprouts Jumper

Finally, we have another one from Aloof! This is the Brussel Sprouts version (men’s here)! Like I mentioned before, all their little 3D characters are hand knitted and sewn on to every jumper so each one is completely unique. No two are the same! It must take these ladies forever to put together a batch of their cool crochet pieces, so definitely check them out! They also do elves, trees, bells, Santa’s, penguins and more! Aren’t they cool? I’m hoping we see a lot of people out in these!

Oh that’s such a shame you don’t get to wear the jumpers as it’s too hot! I did see festive t-shirts though 😀

Haha these are so cute!! I was thinking about making a post about the “ugly Christmas sweater” (“jumper” basically means “onesie” or bodysuit here in the states lol), as every season I’m tempted to get one…there are so many cool options 🙂 Love this post!

Christmas jumpers look so fun! That sequin penguin one is easily my fave, although I like the handmade rudolph one too, so cleverly done! Much too warm here for that, although we do have the ‘ugly Christmas rashies’ which go on sale to fundraise for the cancer council, kinda similar even if for a completely different season, haha!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend! After a crazy week I’m hoping to do a little bit more for Christmas, getting those last few gifts and doing some more wrapping!

Oh that sounds fun! I can imagine it is strange though (for me anyway) to have Christmas in the heat, ha ha!

Those amigurumi reindeer are just too cute for words.

They’re all lovely, my fave would be the 2nd one. Love the style and the color, really Christmasy. The 6th is really cute too.

I wasn’t sure which one I was going to like best until I scrolled down to the brussel sprouts one and saw that it was the clear winner. 😀 This time, not just because of the green! Two of my family (my dad and my brother) absolutely hate brussel sprouts so it would be a great thing to wear to tease them both. 😉

Speaking of green, your green jeans in your final photo above are lovely too. 🙂

Ha ha, that’s a great reason to love that one 😀 I hate sprouts too, they’re one of those vegetables I can’t eat, even when my mum tricked me and claimed they were just baby cabbages. Don’t taste like any cabbage I’ve ever eaten LOL!

      • December 14, 2017 / 12:36 am

Awww… I’ve heard the baby cabbages line too. My mum used to say it to my brother. 😀 It is a totally different taste, I agree, even though I like both. 😀

Wow Lorna, so cool those Christmas jumpers. I am so in love with the capt. America one, haven’t been able to find it. You look so amazing, I really love the one with you in the jumpers and hunter wellies.

I love the candy cane jumper, and the one with the penguins on it is so cute! It’s lovely to see a great selection of Christmas jumpers featured here. It’s amazing how much effort goes into producing the crochet pieces that adorn the jumpers by Aloof. I especially love the reindeers. I think it’s great that you plan to revive your Christmas jumpers and wear them again. I really like your past looks with the different jumpers, they look fabulous on you!

    Lots of love Saba xx

When I found out about the attention to detail that went into the Aloof ones, I was surprised too. They’re great! And yes! I have one new one to show everyone, but as the time is getting so close to Christmas, I don’t have any new shoots planned to revive these old ones on the blog, but just wearing them instead!

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
