Fashion Blogger Outfit In Autumn
These photos might be one of my favourites from my Autumn set! Aren’t they just stunning? Whenever I see bright oranges and yellows on the leaves, I have to take a photo and I planned a complementary outfit to the scenery, to make sure the set came out perfectly. Woodland areas are just so beautiful in every way, and I always feel so calm and connected to them ever since I was little, often hiding in them, but there’s something about this time of year (or should I say a couple of weeks ago – everything is bare right now) that just gives me energy and brings it all to life.
For this outfit, I chose to wear my old Zara Aviator Jacket (which I’ve worn numerous times) and styled it over a Topshop Funnel Neck Top in Beige. I opted to wear a my PAIGE Margot Skinny Jeans in Black as well to create a dark base, and then finished it off with my Celtic & Co. Chelsea Boots. I thought there wasn’t enough colour in my outfit though, and I didn’t want these photos to only have colour in the scenery, so I went with this Zara Burgundy Scarf that I actually got Adam for his birthday, but I borrowed it, ha ha. I love burgundy as you know, and I think it really brings an outfit to life and gives it that pop it needs during Autumn, as it’s the perfect tone for the golden hues.
Sometimes I think my most casual and comfortable looks, like this, are my favourites. Of course I love the outfits that I style with heels and boots, or fitted dresses etc., but this time of year always makes me nostalgic and when I wear coat looks like this, they just really resonate with me. I can never get enough of them and cosy coats are my go to thing! Anytime I see one, I feel like I need to have it, but then I end up with no room! Does anyone else have these issues with coats? You always feel like you need more?
For those of you wondering about my edits here, there was a bit more green in the grass and some lower down bushes (see my IG stories), and the photography/lighting didn’t make the leaves show up exactly as they were in person, so I’ve spent a good amount of time fixing the photos up to eliminate the green, and bring more of the vibrancy back to the leaves, and I love how it turned out as it’s so Autumnal and rich with golden, magical, jewel tones, especially the sunlight glowing in the background. As you can tell, this is why I’m so passionate about this set, and why it’s my favourite so far, but I have a few more to come, so we will see if others take over there! Anyway, please do let me know what you think of my outfit! And I have some Christmas content coming soon this month too! Lorna xx.

I know what you mean about preferring more casual cozy outfits this time of year. Being comfy feels wonderful when the weather gets colder.

These fall photos are beautiful! The orange and yellow tones of the leaves is just gorgeous. I love this more cozy, casual outfit. Adding the burgundy scarf was a really good idea!

That is such a lovely cosy casual outfit and I like the leaves – you did a great job in editing them! 🙂 I don’t have a lot of coats, they are not something that needs worn often here in Brisbane, but I do love a good cosy scarf and have quite a few of them, haha! 🙂
Hope that you are having a nice start to your week! Our heatwave has finally ended which is a relief! 🙂

I’m the same way, I always want more coats. The funny thing is that I didn’t use to be that way, or at least I don’t remember being so crazy about them, but now I just can’t get enough of them.
This comfy outfit is gorgeous. I know what you mean about comfy outfits being your favourite ones, it’s definitely nice to sleep into something warm and cozy, especially this time of year. You look lovely. Have a fab weekend!

I just love these pictures Lorna. The changing color of the leaves is my favorite part of Fall and I can’t get enough of its beauty. Your shearling jacket is my favorite! Not only does it look cozy but I love the moto style and structure.

Very interested to read about the editing process. You have done a terrific job as I would never have realised without being told. 🙂 It makes for such a gorgeous background in which autumn seems so vibrant and alive. I never thought I would approve of the phrase ” eliminate the green ” LOL
As for the outfit itself I really like this combination of jacket and jeans – looks so classy and warm too.
Definitely one your best ever autumn shoots. 🙂

Oh thank you, Steven 🙂 I’m so glad to hear that! And yeah I did think of you when I wrote about the green, ha ha! Happy Christmas 🙂
Happy Christmas to you too. Hopefully green will not be eliminated from that. LOL
