Hunter Coral Wellies Outfit

Hunter Coral Wellies With A Bright Check Scarf

I’m doing a little throwback here! Since I ended up shooting so many Autumn photos, I never got around to sharing this set and it got pushed aside in place of my Winter looks! The reason I didn’t share this one sooner though is because I wasn’t sure on it. I absolutely love the combination of bright colours here, but since I don’t really wear much in the way of brights now and my new way of editing photos doesn’t suit Autumn (typically) I couldn’t figure out how to put these to good use. Anyway, I definitely wanted to share as the more I looked at these photos, the more I enjoyed the whole outfit, especially the scarf and wellies paired together. I haven’t used any sort of theme on here, as you can see, I just muted the green of the grass and that’s it, so these photos are pretty much in their natural state here.

I was wearing my Hunter Original Tall Wellies in Coral (which you remember from this outfit) and I tucked them into my PAIGE Margot Jeans in Shadow. I chose my Zara Knitted Jumper in Cream to keep a black and white neutral base, then opted for my Joules Checked Scarf as it really complemented the coral in the rain boots. It’s such a gorgeous scarf, isn’t it? The only thing is, when you wrap it around, the bright shades vanish a lot as they get hidden in the tuck, so does anyone know how to wear a square scarf like this and have the middle colours show instead of a bulk lot of navy? I would love any advice that you have! As I did get this scarf back in Autumn though, it’s sold out unfortunately and I couldn’t find one similar, so sorry about that!

Even though we’re approaching Spring, which I absolutely love and can’t get enough of at the moment, I still think the Autumn is my favourite season. I’m just obsessed with the rich jewel tones, so I’m glad I still have these photos to look back on actually. It’s been a little while since I wore wellies properly, and I’ve found myself not wearing them much at all lately actually, but hopefully you enjoy these photos! They are one of my best pairs as I love the bright orange shade, and actually the only pair that got compliments in person. Let me know what you think of this outfit anyway, I always love your opinions! Lorna xx.

That is such a beautiful scarf! I love it! Bright scarves like this are my kind of thing! 🙂 I often struggle with tying scarves to get the best bits front and centre, haha! Folding it into a triangle and then looping it around is maybe one way to do it? I love pretty scarves like this, I’m so glad it’s scarf weather again here now!

Hope you are having a great weekend 🙂 Another busy one here!

I did actually try that method, but it still kept showing too much navy, ha ha!

I think these are a lot of fun and would really bring life to an outfit. I might need to get myself a pair of rain-boots for wet weather. They look like they would be really comfortable.

Wow, Lorna. Amazing those wellies, they look so good on you. That scarf looks wonderful and colourful too. A match made in heaven, haha.

Great set of photos. 🙂 I think it’s fun to dress in brighter colours sometimes (or, in my case, quite often). It’s quite uplifting to see this splash of brightness. The scarf is terrific – it has such a gorgeous range of colours in it and it’s certainly a good pairing with the wellies.

Fully agree with that! I adore bright colours now in clothes, especially since it’s summer 😀
