A July Life Update
I know I skipped a monthly update last month, but as I was in Lyme Regis, it made more sense to do a holiday roundup instead, but I have quite a few things to share with you for July, so here it is! First of all, the weather has been absolutely insane, it’s raining and huge electrical storms lighting up the sky every second one minute, and then it’s really hot at record breaking temperatures in the UK of 39C. This is so weird for July for us! I do, however, know when my birthday is coming because I checked the forecast and it’s rain, pouring rain, ha ha. Saturday should be fun! I actually don’t have any plans for my birthday this year, which is unusual, as usually I know what I’m doing, but I guess I’m keeping it low key! Anyway, the photo above was shot at Bath on the Beach, which is an area inside Victoria Park here which they have covered in sand and turned into a Hawaiian themed beach! Isn’t it really cool? You can see the photos for the full outfit though by clicking here.
Now moving on, I have some new purchases!! These 2 pieces are from the Allsaints sale because they had 50% off and an extra 20%, so I finally picked up the Keiko bomber jacket in black. I had to size up to a UK 12 in this though as it runs really small! I’m usually an 8 in their leather jackets. You can buy it here. The other piece is a shirt from them too, which is now sold out, but it’s stunning! Love the tie front on it and I took a medium in it as it ran smaller too and I wanted a slouchier fit. I definitely recommend checking the sale out though as there’s still quite a few things left! Click here for it.
In the Louis Vuitton box above was a men’s belt that I had bought for myself online (looked like this) and I had been wanting it for ages, but when it arrived, it just wasn’t what I had hoped. It was actually more masculine in person than I thought, and quite large, so I returned it. When I was browsing around for an alternative (I wanted a new black with silver hardware belt) I actually came across one by B-Low The Belt, the Richie, and I fell in love with it. It’s the one you see on me above, it arrived this morning, and I am obsessed with it! You can buy it here on Revolve. I took a size small and I wear a 27/28 jeans, if that helps! I would say the size small on their hip belts is equivalent to a size 80cm. Anyway, I can’t wait to start wearing it in my outfits, it’s just so pretty!
This was a selfie I had taken when I first got my Saint Laurent glasses last month.
The view of the beautiful River Avon here in Bath.
A couple of weeks ago when it was raining, I had some fun in my Stutterheim rain coat and my Hunter ankle Cheslea boots. Love days and looks like these!
This is also another new purchase, a Cupcakes & Cashmere tank top with florals! Love it. You can click here to pick it up from Shopbop. I do love Emily’s line!
This is a new Topshop Burgundy Leather Skirt that I got the other day. Trying different outfits to dress it down in a more casual way. I love it so much that I also got the black version. Buy the skirts here.
Some of my food, the first is Chicken Ramen (gluten free) from Wagamama and the second one is a tuna steak, french fries, and broccoli from Loch Fyne. Both super delicious!
A selfie from Wagamama. My hair is always crazy!
Two very intense and gorgeous sunsets that I saw over this month from the window.
We also had a family picnic at the park a couple of weeks ago, played frisbee, watched the hot air balloons take off, had food etc. and I loved it! It was a really nice time.
And a shot of me at Loch Fyne. But please do let me know what you think of my July update, what new purchases you like the most, and what you have been up to this month too! Lorna xx.

Thank you! Hopefully it wasn’t too hectic!
What on earth is that ghostly brown figure that’s sat at the top of the photo where you’re stood on the steps? I’m guessing you’re at some kind of tourist attraction location but I can’t guess what that might be. 🙂
I love all of your new purchases here – especially the floral top and the tie front shirt. The leather skirt is really cute too. 🙂 You’ve bought such a wide variety of items and I love that you’ve gone for some really colourful things.
That sunset photo with all the orange shades is amazing. 🙂

Oh that is a sculpture made of wire, it’s an angel or fairy sitting on the bar with flowers, ha ha 🙂 I didn’t even notice it! It’s just some stairs to a shopping area in Bath. No tourist attraction.
