Guns N’ Roses

Styling A Guns N’ Roses Band Tee

I’m going back to my roots a bit with this outfit, as I used to wear a lot of band tees and black when I was younger. I love looks like these though as I tend to feel really comfortable in them. I chose this t-shirt from Truffle Shuffle, which is a Bristol based shop, and I love it! It’s a faded Guns N’ Roses t-shirt by Amplified. It does run small though, I took a size medium in it and it’s quite fitted, so size up if you want a decent fit! I usually wear an S in t-shirts, if that helps.

To complete my look, I went with my trusty L’AGENCE Margot Jeans in Graphite (I know, do I not wear anything else these days?!) and my Alexander McQueen Oversized Sneakers, finished off with my new B-Low The Belt Richie Belt (buy it here), my old Diesel watch, and a new Topman Necklace that Adam bought me for my birthday. This belt is a present that I bought myself as I was looking for a new black and silver piece, but one that didn’t make too much of a statement and it’s absolutely perfect! I’m still loving these shoes too (buy them here) as I wore them all day and they’re so comfy!

We shot these photos in Great Pulteney Street here in Bath last week as we were staying in a hotel there for a photoshoot day with House of Cavani, so unlike when my photos are taken in the bright daylight, these were shot in the evening around 8:30pm and I quite like how moody the lighting is. It brings a different atmosphere to the shots, and since there weren’t too many people around, it was much easier to do photos at that time of night, ha ha. Anyway, let me know what you think of this outfit and if you prefer styles like these! Lorna xx.

Such a fun monochrome outfit and I’m impressed it’s that light so late at night, haha! The sun sets much earlier here in Brisbane, especially now as it’s winter!

I like the band tee too I’m joining the #sparklepunchmusicmonth on Instagram and pulling out some of my old band tees – you’ve made me think of a monochromatic outfit I could try! Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂

Oh yeah, it sets super early here in Winter too, around 3-4pm, but as we’re right in the middle of Summer, it’s much later 😀 Glad I could provide you with some inspo, Mica!

I love these photos Lorna. These evenings does add a mood to your pictures and highlights your band tee. I am also very attracted to black clothing and still wear a lot of it even though I do like color too! I hope you are having a great weekend so far and happy Sunday!

Great look and I think the belt is the perfect finishing touch to the outfit. I love how you’ve embraced the idea of belts in recent times as I remember when you didn’t go near them at all – it’s an interesting evolution. 🙂 The t-shirt is a perfect companion to the jeans (it’s not my kind of music… but as an item of clothing the shirt looks really cool).

Talking of evolution, when I was younger I used to have a rule of never wearing any shirt that had wording or emblems on it… it was a shyness thing really… I didn’t want people looking at me for long enough to read me! 😉 LOL I’m fine with that now though. 😀 I’m just shy these days instead of ridiculously shy. 😉

That makes sense to not want to wear any logos because of that. I’m glad that’s different for you now though!

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
