Celine Camargue Biker Boots With A Dress
You all know that I don’t really worry about the gender of the clothes I wear, and I will regularly wear men’s pieces as much as I wear women’s, but I took it one step further this time! Back in October last year when I was in London, I fell in love with a pair of men’s boots in the Celine boutique, and they were called the Celine Camargue Biker Boots. I didn’t buy them at the time as I’d bought a Celine bag, and hadn’t saved enough money for extra purchases.
A couple of months ago, I managed to get an amazing deal on them, and I couldn’t pass it up! I took a size 39, which is the smallest size they do in men’s, and is usually my normal size anyway. They do fit a little bit looser, but I absolutely love them! The harness is removable entirely, or you can wear it with the chain under the boot instead of across the top, or just as a simple Chelsea boot. I love that you can wear them 3 different ways! Aren’t they cool?
For the first time wearing these Celine boots, I chose to style them with my The East Order Black Floral Dress, and then finished it off with my Louis Vuitton Mini Palm Springs Backpack. I’m still obsessed with this bag! Even though I wouldn’t usually mix the silver hardware on the boots with the gold on the bag, it works. It’s a combination that I really like and I quite like how these photos turned out too. Also, Black Friday will be coming up in November, I cannot wait to see what sales are on! There’s so many Allsaints pieces that I need to pick up, ha ha.
On a more personal note, if I’m going to open my heart a little bit to all of you, it’s also bitter sweet looking at these photos. This was the last shoot with Adam that I’m going to be posting, since we don’t work together anymore, unfortunately, and it’s almost like the end of an era for me. I just thought I would put that out there as when I next do photos outside, they might have a different look to them. It’s still difficult trying to sink that in, since he’s been a part of my blog since its conception in 2010. I genuinely hope things can work themselves out in the near future, but we will see. Anyway, what do you think of this outfit? And do you like the boots? Lorna xx.

Oh I definitely recommend them! Or Saint Laurent! Or From The First! All good boot brands. I haven’t found a new photographer yet, I’m working on the direction I want to go!
Hi Lorna
Those boots are gorgeous!!! I’d never know they were in the men’s section but so what if they are? Like you I think we’re way past that gender rigid clothing thing. The buckle across the instep really works. I’ve got a favourite pair of ankle boots which are from the women’s section, not as stunning as yours, but they’re my go to boots to wear with black skinny jeans.
I love the dress too, it really shows off your figure without showing too much. You look really pretty and it suits you.
I’m sorry to read these pictures have a sadness behind them. Hopefully you can have a happy reconciliation soon. but until then…
Take care, big virtual hugs and love to you.

Yeah! They’re pretty feminine for a men’s boot, which is why I like them! I’m glad you like the dress too, thank you! It’s one of my favourites actually, I find myself reaching for it often! What kind of boots are yours?
Those boots are so fun – wouldn’t know they were mens if you hadn’t said! I love the look of them with the pretty floral dress too, so perfect for autumn!
Sorry to hear about you no longer working with Adam – hope you still manage to get lots of outfit pics 🙂
Hope your week is going well 🙂
