Leather Leggings With A White Shirt And Corset Belt
Happy Saturday! These photos were shot a few weeks ago when the first sign of Spring was starting to hit! It was pretty chilly, but there was some beautiful sunshine hitting, which made a change! I honestly can’t believe how fast the time is going though! Can you? It’s already past mid March, the clocks go forward next weekend, and it will soon be Summer! Can you believe it? Everything has been a blur for the last year, it’s madness.
Anyway, for this outfit, I wanted to mix it up a bit and do something different. I actually put this together on a whim and wasn’t expecting it to look this cool, so I really like how it turned out! I was wearing my Commando Faux Leather Leggings (they’re so flattering and comfortable, they’re my favourite leggings) with my Oversized Zara White Shirt. Since this shirt is really loose, I used my Pretty Little Thing Corset Belt to pull the waist together and create the hourglass shape. I then finished it off with my Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 Heels, and my Chanel Wallet On Chain Bag in Black.
Black and white always makes a statement when it comes to outfits, and I think this look here proves that. It mixes fashionable and classy together, in a fun, but sophisticated way. I’m keeping this post short and sweet, focused mostly on the outfit, so what’s your opinion on this outfit? I’d love to know! Lorna xx.

Hi Lorna
You absolutely rock that style and look absolutely gorgeous. The white shirt with the black corset is a great pairing. I love those leggings too, they are perfect – really sleek and sexy yet classy. And you’ve completed your outfit with the perfect heels. Louboutin’s are a work of art, aren’t they?
The thing I love is you never try too hard with your outfits. I see so many clothes and shoes where the designer or the influence has gone too far. Simple and classy is always best in my opinion.
Thanks for this update, pictures and the videos too.
Big virtual hugs

Thank you so much, Russ! Glad you love it! And yes, Louboutin’s are certainly a work of art, Christian knows what he’s doing when it comes to making beautiful shoes, although they’re not made for comfort in the slightest, ha ha! But I’m happy you appreciate that I don’t go overboard with my looks!
I’m so glad you finally posted the pictures of this outfit! I’ve been waiting in anticipation since I saw the preview shots you posted on Instagram. Faux leather always looks great on you, and as you said, the combination of black and white offset each other in a way that is powerful in spite of their simplicity. I’m a bit conflicted about the corset belt. On one hand, it helps accentuate your curves, which is a plus; however, I find that it draws my eye and seems to overpower the rest of your ensemble, although not having it would change the entire feel of the outfit, making it much more casual. I’m not sure why, but for some reason picturing you without the belt make me think of Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight.” I guess it’s the notion of seeing someone before/after a party and being captivated by how beautiful they look as just themselves compared to dressed up image they present to the rest of the world.

Yeah, I think it would take on a completely different look without the belt, less smart, more free flowing because the shirt is so large, it would be very oversized and casual, but definitely still pretty! So glad you like it, Charles!

Thank you, Mica! My week is ok 🙂 I hope yours is too!
I really like your retro looking 1970’s inspired outfit, especially the Zara oversized white shirt, and the Commando faux leather leggings that reminds me of Olivia Newton John during her October through December 1978 Totally Hot tour.

You look like a total bombshell Lorna! I wouldn’t have thought to wear the pieces all together, but it creates such a lovely silhouette.
You’re right, things have felt unfamiliar and strange for too long. It will be a welcome relief to have some sense of normality!
It’s always a real delight to visit your blog.
