A gorgeous American sunset.
And here’s my third and final installment of my Ohio photo diary series! You can see part one and part two here, but I’m kind of sad that there’s going to be no more segments. Not anytime soon anyway, but I’m hopeful of going back as soon as I can! We will see! I’m so proud of myself that I did all of this alone, and that I have a new found confidence and independence in terms of travelling. I can’t believe I was afraid of flying all this time, and now I absolutely love it and can’t wait to get back on a plane and go somewhere outside of the UK again! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the rest of these photos from my trip. Lorna xx.
A couple of mirror selfies in American Eagle clothes.
My favourite Chipotle (I choose pork) and a delicious Olive Garden meal too!
The rainbow sign for Easton Mall in Columbus.
Dinner out with Christen and his dad.
Fish dinner at Bag of Nails, and my chicken, mash, green beans at Texas Roadhouse.
A cute selfie in Chipotle.
Belleville Street Fair had this gorgeous gazebo with a flag, and yep, there’s me shooting a rifle. I’d never shot a gun before, especially not with real bullets, and I was a really good shot. You can see on my Instagram stories highlight, I was hitting tiny targets (I will only shoot targets) from 75 yards away.
Mansfield Family Restaurant – Chicken monteray is so good!
Ashland at night time, on the way back from the County Fair.
Mansfield, Ohio, by day.
How gorgeous is this view?
Menards is my favourite store! I absolutely loved it and felt so at home. I want a job there! Ha ha.
After never having worked out at a proper gym, Planet Fitness became my go to!
Some shots from Texas Roadhouse.
The huge selection of Amy’s Kitchen food that I love! Inside Kroger.
Another shot of pretty Ashland at nighttime.
My first time trying Candy Corn, and I really didn’t like it. Too sweet, lol!
The perfect grilled cheese that Christen made me. I am actually obsessed with these!
Just a simple selfie.
Tickets! I loved these!
And finally, an American mail box! These are so cool and different compared to our iconic red ones!

It’s nice to see more pics of your trip and great that you enjoyed your time there! 🙂 I think you’re so brave for firing a gun too! My hubby went to a gun range when he was in America a couple years back but I couldn’t do it, haha!
Hope that your week is off to a great start!
