My Skims Bodysuit Cat Halloween Costume

A Black Cat Costume For Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! You guys know that I love doing my annual Halloween costume (some of my previous ones include Tinkerbell, Captain America, Wonder Woman, a Cowgirl, Little Red Riding Hood, a Devil/Angel and many more) and this year I have done it a little different! I am in the United States again for a very short time and I’m celebrating Halloween here! There was a really cool party that Christen and I went to over the weekend, so I got to wear my costume out all night, and so did he!

As you can see, I am a black cat! I put this outfit together using my Skims Black Bodysuit in size small (click here to buy it) and my Duo Empress Boots that are thigh high. I finished it off with my cat ears and cat makeup. I love how this costume turned out, it’s probably my favourite rendition of a cat costume that I’ve ever put together. It felt a little odd being out in just a tight bodysuit, but it was fun! Christen on the other hand, he went all out with his Spider-Man costume! Can you see how epic his is? Ha ha. He actually looks like Spider-Man!

American’s do Halloween so differently to us in the UK, so it has been such a fun experience! The costumes that people put together were so creative! Instead of just being scary like I’m used to, I saw two girls dressed as the Step Brothers movie, I saw Einstein, and so many more creative outfits! I have to say that the American’s definitely do it better! What’s your opinion on that?

For those of you interested in the Skims Bodysuit that I’m wearing, it’s the new All-In-One Shine Mock Neck Long Sleeve Onesie in Black. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so flattering! I purchased it specifically for this cat costume, as I knew it would hold me in in the right places, and boy I was right. It is tight, I did pick size small based on the size chart, but the chest area is very small, so I was a bit squashed in that department! But the rest of it fit really well! Isn’t it cool? The sheen it has is fantastic!

My make-up was pretty simple to do! I just used a black eyeshadow to create the black nose and whiskers, and I put on some really long fake eyelashes to really give a cat appearance. I absolutely love how my cat costume turned out for this Halloween and it’s one of my favourites! I have shared a reel today on Instagram (see here) featuring my cat costume in motion, so please do check that out! As always, let me know what you think of the cat outfit and of Christen as Spider-Man! Lorna xx.

Great photos, guys! I thought everyone did Halloween like we do. As a kid, I wore a devil suit complete with long tail and pitchfork. 😂

Ha ha! I used to wear a bin/trash bag and a pointy hat and say I was a witch!

What cute costumes on you both! We don’t really do Halloween here, I think it’s an American thing to get all dressed up so it’s nice you got to enjoy that while you were there 🙂

Hope you’re having a good day. It was another rainy day here.

If you keep spending all your time visiting the States, you may need to apply for dual citizenship. ^_^ At the very least, you going to have to adopt an American accent–and now I want to hear your attempt at what you think is an American accent. Actually, I want to hear you do several accents, like a New York accent, a California/valley girl accent, and definitely a Southern country twang-type accent.

Anyways, I’m glad you got to experience an American Halloween with such a great host as Christen. Although the scary aspect does still exist in some aspects (like haunted houses & having scary movie marathons) for the most part Halloween here is more about fun, which seems much more up your alley due to your playful nature. Speaking of haunted houses, is that something that is done in the UK? If not, you should come back next year & visit some (assuming you haven’t already). They range anywhere from being scary (with stuff popping up in front of you & people in costumes chasing you) to silly & cheesy (like having you stick your hand in a bowl of peeled grapes and saying that it’s eyeballs). Some of them might be a little too intense for you and leave you shaken, but with the right one I can picture you screaming some at first, then laughing because you’re having so much fun.

I have never seen a haunted house thing here at all. I’m guessing maybe there might be one somewhere in the country, but I have no idea! I’m not really scared too easily to scream at things, so it would be interesting to know what one is like, ha ha.

Thanks for your comments =) I read & reply every one =)
