It’s Your Golden Hour

When I wear this outfit, all I have in my head is Golden Hour by JVKE. I think it’s perfectly suited and I actually used it in my Instagram Reel version of this outfit. Gold is one of my favourite colours to wear during the autumn and winter months as it’s so festive and it’s the perfect upgrade to my usual neutral beige and brown tones.

So for this gorgeous gold outfit, I was wearing the Allsaints Megan 2-in-1 Metallic Foil Dress in Caramel Brown, which features a beautiful golden satin cami style dress underneath a beige fluffy knitted jumper/sweater. It’s two separate pieces, so you can wear the full look, or wear them as individual pieces. I plan to do both ways as I’m in love with them!

For my accessories, I opted for my Saint Laurent Nano Sac de Jour in Dark Beige, as I think it was the perfect in-between shade for the gold and the light beige! Plus, it has a golden lock which matches the gold tones of the dress. I then chose my Brixton Hat in Brown, just to add a little more depth to the layering and dimensions of this outfit. The brown was a good balancing tone too, just to bring the lightness down a little bit, adding more character. A bold red berry lipstick just added that autumnal feel too.

Then finally, the other stars of the show, my Gianvito Rossi Gold Ankle Boots! These boots have a more darker gold tone than the lighter champagne colour of the dress, so it was a perfect balancing act for all of the dimensions and for the palette as a whole.

I really love how this outfit turned out, and you will see from the Instagram Reel video that I also wore the Allsaints Dalby Leather Jacket in Caramel Gold. It just finished everything off with the outfit perfectly, but I hadn’t purchased it when I shot these photos, I got it the week after!
