The Leather Back Jeans Outfit

Hey everyone! It’s been a little while since I shared an outfit post with you, the last one was actually a month ago and I do apologise for taking so long. A lot has been going on in my life, especially health wise as I had a major scare during a procedure on my arm, and I’ve also been feeling quite down lately with my mental health, which has meant that I haven’t really wanted to talk about myself or things going on. It’s been a lot easier to focus on non personal posts that aren’t directly about me right now.

Since I shot these outfit photos a while ago though and I’ve already shared the look to Instagram, it’s time to share this outfit with you here on my fashion blog too. It’s one that I put together on a whim and it turned out to be amazing!

I was wearing my Abercrombie & Fitch Mixed Fabric Straight Fit Jeans and I got these in size 28 waist and regular length. I usually wear a short inseam with Abercrombie, but as I wanted to pair these with heels, the regular inseam worked out the best. These jeans are actually amazing! They feature a washed black, stretch fabric front, and the back is faux leather, which is also stretchy! How unique is this? They combine the cool, sexy appeal of leather, with the effortless, casual appeal of denim, all in one.

I know a few of you have been asking me to share these photos as soon as I could because the jeans are so loved by everyone, so here they finally are! They’re still fully stocked on the website and I cannot recommend them enough! They also come in the Curve Love fit for smaller waists and wider hips. I couldn’t love these more if I tried! I even love that they are a slim straight instead of the usual skinny.

I decided to pair my leather and denim jeans with my Celine Triomphe Belt in Black. I picked this up from the Celine boutique in London when I was there around Christmas time and I absolutely adore it! I own this belt in a couple of colours, but I think I need the black version in a smaller size for the waist too. I wear an 85 around my jeans that are just above the hips, and a 75 around the waist. There’s something about this belt that screams elegance though, I’m obsessed with it! It works perfectly with the jeans.

For my top, this is my American Eagle Cropped Mock Neck in Black. I picked this one up a couple of years ago in the United States and have worn it many times. It has a really flattering fit and I love the length as it just skims the top of my jeans, which helps define the waist.

Then for my shoes and accessories, I opted for my Loeffler Randall Isla Booties in Black Suede – which I am always obsessed with! They’re the best black boots that I own! I then finished it off with my Saint Laurent Le 5 a 7 Bag in Black with the gold YSL logo, which really complements the belt buckle! And finally, my Edge of Ember Peridot Deco Birthstone Necklace!

So this entire outfit is a combination of black with pops of gold and I love how it turned out. I would of course love your opinion too and to know what you think of these leather and denim jeans! I shared a lot of extra photos below as well, so you can really get a good look at the jeans.
